Let me say two things right up front.  One, summer is my favorite season of the year.  Two, summer is not officially over until later this month.  

So, please don’t think I’m a hater of summer.  

But I’m not all that upset that it’s cold and rainy today.  It seems like the kind of weather that’s conducive to a little post Labor Day productivity.  I’m not sure why, but I associate the fall with time to settle down, get focused and get some stuff done.  Maybe it’s all those years on a college campus but I can’t help but see the fall as a time of new beginnings.  I don’t know where you need a fresh start or where you need to focus and get stuff done, but why not start moving in that direction today?
