First ever baptism at Restoration City

Yesterday was such a great day for our church plant.  I think we felt more like a church family than any other week so far.  It was so good to hear Kevin share what God has done in his life and to see our community celebrating that grace together.

Baptism is a celebration of what’s most important to us at RCC – Jesus and the power of the gospel for salvation to all who believe.  Kevin reminded us all of that power and the greatness of Jesus this past weekend.

As I was driving home, I couldn’t help but think of our next baptism service coming up in November.  I’m praying we not only see more people baptized but also see people who come to faith between now and then celebrate baptism with us.  Would you join me in praying for that?  I’m asking God to save people through the ministry of RCC in these next two months and praying we will celebrate the fruit of those prayers in November.  That’s why we exist as a church, so let’s be praying towards that end!
